Dear WA Judo Fans,
The 2006 Australian National Judo Championships will be held here in Perth
from Saturday the 10th to Monday the 12th of June 2006 and WE NEED YOUR HELP
in the following areas: |
Sponsoring….
If you know any potential sponsors, please
download the sponsor package from our website (or ask Robert). Just click on
the national’s banner and follow the links. A modest $100 already sponsors
an entire weight division. Every little bit helps and it is tax-deductible!

Services…
We need the following services / items
- Anybody able to donate the use of a
truck for transporting the mats?
- Signage at the venue (billboard,
directions, etc)
- Printing services for promotion and
entry badges
- Two photocopiers to be used at the
event
- Podium (raised platform big enough to
hold the main officials table)
- Projectors * 6
- Large LCD Plasma TV screen * 4
- Laptop (recent models with dual
monitor support) * 4
- Podium for medallists
- Recording of the national anthem
- Microphone system
- Press connections

Volunteers…
Friday the 9th of June – Afternoon
/ Evening
- Transporting the mats and equipment.
- Setting up of the halls, lying mats
(incl. cleaning), putting up signage, etc.
- Welcoming officials / players at the
airport (all day)
- Transportation of officials from
airport (requires license to operate a 21-seater bus)
- Support for the Weigh-in and various
other tasks

Collect spectator entry fees, distribute coaches/competitors information

Monday the 12th of June 2006 – End
of event
- After the event, all mats and
equipment need to be packed up and transported back to the various
locations.
