| Picture of WA members that attended the recent NTID (National Talent
ID) seminar hosted by JudoWA and the NTID youth coach, Dennis Iverson. The day was open to all clubs and coaches in WA and consisted of various fitness tests, competition tips, techniques and referee rules. This was followed by a great randori session where we could all apply what was learnt on the day. The WA youth team is currently competing for the top spots in the national squad and we hope that several of our players will be part of the 2016 Brazil Olympics! JudoWA coaching director, Carlo Knoester, is optimistic that WA will spearhead the future of Australian Judo. "We have the talent and coaches to go all the way. We are hungry and prepared to go the extra distance to ensure that our state features strongly on a national basis. |
