Judo WA’s first State Training session of 2025 took place at UWA Judo Club this past weekend, and what an incredible way to start the year! With nearly 80 judoka on the mats across both junior and senior sessions, the turnout demonstrated the dedication and enthusiasm of our judo community.

The session was expertly led by our state coaches, Sensei Catia Maia and Sensei Luc Tournier, who provided high-quality instruction and guidance throughout the sessions.

Upcoming State Training & IJF Rules Seminar

📅 Next State Training:
🗓 Sunday, 16 February 2025
📍 Kano Judo Schools

In addition to the regular training, this session will include an IJF Rules Seminar between the junior and senior sessions. This is a great opportunity for all judoka, coaches, and referees to deepen their understanding of the latest competition rules.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this first session of the year—we can’t wait to see you all back on the mats soon!
