2021 AGM Media Statement & Annual Report

Following the 2021 Judo WA Annual General Meeting, Judo WA is pleased to announce the reappointment of Martin Ross, and Celeste Knoester and new Director Melissa Dennehy to their Board, effective August 28, 2021

Judo WA Chief Executive Officer, Chris Erikson, has welcomed the reappointment of the experienced team of Martin Ross and Celeste Knoester for a further two-year term, “both bring considerable experience to our Board which ensures our members and stakeholders see consistent level of service provision as Judo WA prepare for the exciting journey our sport has ahead”.

Melissa Dennehy has been appointed to fill the remaining vacant position on Judo WA’s board for a two-year term, “Melissa brings a wealth of experience to her new role of providing strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of quality-based, integrated programs”

Melissa joins Judo WA’s Board alongside chairperson Martin Ross, Directors; Celeste Knoester, David Smith, Robert Tichelaar, and Marlee Mickle.

Judo WA is the State Sporting Organisation governing the sport in Western Australia. We are a member of Judo Australia, the Oceania Judo Union, and the International Judo Federation. Judo WA is proudly supported by Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Lottery West and Healthway.
