Veterans
Competition and training pathways for mature judoka in Western Australia — from club practice through national and international veterans events.
Veterans judo brings together mature judoka for training, competition and community. Age divisions recognise experience on the mat while keeping contests meaningful and safe.
Western Australian veterans compete at state and national levels, and self-funded international opportunities (including Veterans World Championships) are coordinated through Judo Australia when selection windows open.
Shows upcoming events where the title, description, or event type mentions veterans (or the event includes the Veterans age group).
National veterans pathways
Judo Australia runs veterans competition as part of the National Championships (typically 35+) and publishes selection information when Veterans World Championship expressions of interest open. Division guidelines sit in Attachment 15 of the Sporting Code.
