KidSport WA

KidSport enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5–18 to participate in community sport with voucher funding of up to $300 per financial year towards club fees.

Eligibility snapshot

  • Child is 5–18 and lives in Western Australia
  • Listed on a valid WA Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with a corresponding CRN
  • Registering with a KidSport-approved club
  • Up to $300 per child each financial year — can be split across approved clubs

Ask your club whether they are KidSport-approved. If not, they can register with the program via the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (DCITS).

National insurance (Judo Australia)

Registered Judo Australia members are covered under a national insurance portfolio arranged through V-Insurance Group — including personal accident cover for sanctioned judo activities worldwide (with standard policy exclusions).

Personal accident claims are lodged with the appointed claims adjuster (Proclaim). Judo Australia can verify membership and provide general advice — see the national insurance page for current claim forms and summaries of cover.

True Sport (SportWest)

True Sport is SportWest’s industry initiative — supported by the WA Government — giving clubs, parents, coaches, and associations practical WA-specific tools for safer, more respectful community sport.
