Judo WA is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people involved in our sport.

Judo Western Australia is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people involved in judo across Western Australia. Our policies and procedures seek to address risks to child safety and to establish child-safe culture and practices.

Our commitment

  • Everyone involved in judo should be aware of their rights and responsibilities in relation to children and young people
  • Clear standards of acceptable behaviour are set out in our safeguarding and member protection policies
  • Concerns are taken seriously and managed in line with the National Integrity Framework

Reporting a safeguarding concern

If you have a safeguarding concern about a child or young person in judo, please report it as soon as possible. You can use our complaint form and select “Safeguarding (child or young person)” as the complaint type.
