Anti-doping rules exist to protect the health of athletes and the integrity of competition. The Australian National Anti-Doping Policy reflects the World Anti-Doping Code and provides a consistent set of anti-doping rules across Australian sport.
Your responsibilities
Athletes, coaches and support personnel all have responsibilities under anti-doping rules, including:
- Competing and training clean
- Being aware of prohibited substances and methods
- Checking medications before use
- Understanding testing and whereabouts requirements for registered testing pools
- Reporting suspected doping
