We’re absolutely thrilled to share the exciting news that three of our very own athletes from Western Australia have been chosen to represent Australia at two imminent and highly prestigious European Judo Tournaments.

Kimi Jost and Jordon Greenbank of UWA Judo Club, along with Saya Middleton of Judo International, have been working relentlessly to hone their skills, and their dedication has rightfully earned them places on the Junior Australian Team.

The team will begin their journey in Hungary at the 2023 Paks Junior European Cup, scheduled for the Saturday, 8th to Sunday, 9th of July. Following this, they will proceed to Austria for the 2023 Graz Junior European Cup held from the Saturday, 15th to Sunday, 16th of July. Jordon and Kimi will be competing in the men’s under 66kg division, while Saya will be showcasing her skills in the women’s under 70kg division.

These selections reflect not only the individual talent and determination of each athlete, but also the outstanding support and training provided by their respective clubs, coaches, and training partners. The UWA Judo Club and Judo International are integral parts of the Judo WA community, and we take immense pride in the excellent training programs and nurturing environment they offer.

We send our best wishes and support to all the athletes as they prepare for these tournaments. We eagerly await their performances, knowing that they will carry the Judo WA banner with pride. Remember to stay tuned to our website and social media channels for updates from these exciting events.

We’re all behind you. Here’s to making your mark on the world stage!
