It is with immense pride that we announce the selection of several Judo WA athletes who will don the green and gold to represent Australia in the 2023 Panamerican-Oceania Cadet & Junior Championships in Calgary, Canada this September.

These championships, scheduled for the 8-9th of September, are a testament to the dedication, skill, and hard work put in by our athletes. Competing at this level is no small feat, and we’re thrilled to have our own WA athletes showcased on this grand stage.

In the 2023 Panamerican-Oceania Cadet Championships :

Maelie Tournier – Judo International – Women’s Under 48kg.
Oren Kelly – UWA Judo Club – Women’s Under 57kg.
Lucas Vladich-McKenzie – Australian Institute of Judo – Men’s Under 81kg.We also wish to acknowledge Vas Middleton of Judo International, who was selected but will be unable to attend due to school commitments.

Watch them live and cheer them on JudoTV.

For the 2023 Panamerican-Oceania Junior Championships :

Saya Middleton – Judo International – Women’s Under 70kg.
Jordon Greenbank – UWA Judo Club – Men’s Under 66kg.

Sadly, Timeo Tournier from Judo International and Kimi Jost from UWA Judo Club, although selected, won’t be attending.

Watch them live and cheer them on JudoTV.

Good luck to each of our athletes! May you perform at your best, create cherished memories, and most importantly, enjoy the experience. Here’s to representing not just Judo WA but the whole of Australia with pride and passion.
