In recognition of exceptional service and dedication to the sport of Judo in Western Australia, Judo WA proudly announced the conferment of life memberships to two outstanding individuals, Peter Middleton from Judo International and Stockley Davis from UWA Judo Club, during the recent 2023 Perth International Open.
Peter Middleton has been a stalwart of the Judo community, with his contributions to Judo International showcasing his commitment and passion for the sport. His years of expertise and guidance have paved the way for countless judokas, creating a legacy that will be felt for generations to come.
Equally deserving, Stockley Davis from the UWA Judo Club has played a pivotal role in fostering Judo’s growth, not only within the club but across the state. His relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment to the development of young talent is unparalleled.
In accordance with Judo WA’s Life Member Policy, the board of Judo WA unanimously approved the awarding of these life memberships after reviewing the voting results from member clubs, who had been presented with life member nominations. This decision underscores the significant impact both individuals have made on the sport in the region.
