Judo Western Australia wishes the very best of luck to our talented athletes currently participating in a week-long High-Performance camp at the Combat Institute of Australia’s National Performance Centre in Melbourne. This camp, hosted alongside Judo Australia’s various Development Squads, is a critical step for our athletes on their path to excellence.

We extend our best wishes to the following athletes:

Under 23 Development Squad

  • Rihari Iki
  • Maria Swan
  • Saya Middleton

Junior Development Squad

  • Kimi Jost
  • Timeo Tournier
  • Lucas Vladich-McKenzie
  • Keishin Ochi

Cadet Development Squad

  • Maelie Tournier
  • Oren Kelly
  • Hannah McHenry
  • Thalia Armstrong

This camp is an integral part of the National Judo High Performance program, which aims to develop technical and tactical skills, physical prowess, and psychological resilience among promising athletes. Our participants will benefit from intensive training, expert coaching, and the opportunity to train with top judokas from across Australia.

For more information on the development squads and their role in nurturing future champions, visit the Judo Australia Cadet Development Squad, Junior Development Squad, and Under 23 Development Squad pages.
