On Sunday, 13 April, Judo WA hosted a successful Dan Grading Workshop for two dedicated judoka preparing to take the next step in their judo journey – the pursuit of their first dan grade.
Held over three hours, the intensive session provided a comprehensive overview of the dan grading process, offering clarity around expectations, technical requirements, and assessment criteria in line with the National Grading Policy. The workshop aimed to ensure candidates are well-prepared and confident heading into their upcoming examination.
Workshops such as these are a vital part of Judo WA’s commitment to developing and supporting athletes at every stage of their journey, from beginners through to black belt and beyond.
As we look ahead to the official Dan Grading later this month, we extend our best wishes to all candidates sitting for their examinations – we look forward to seeing the continued growth of our judo community.
