Judo Western Australia is proud to highlight the participation of our WA judoka in the 2026 National Randori Camp, held from 16–18 February. The camp served as an important high-performance training opportunity, bringing together athletes from across the country for intensive preparation and valuable exposure to strong training partners and national-level coaching.
The camp, hosted by Judo Australia, was led by an experienced team of National Coaches, including Emilien Freund, Ivica Pavlinic, Kerrye Katz, and Rob Katz, along with guest coaches from across the country who contributed to the development of athletes throughout the program.
Across the three days, athletes completed multiple high-intensity sessions focused on sharpening technical execution, improving tactical decision-making, and building competition readiness. The camp environment provided a strong balance of structured drilling and live training, giving participants the chance to test themselves in demanding randori against a wide variety of styles.
