WA Athletes Participate in 2025  High Performance & Pathways Camp

The 2025 Judo Australia National High Performance and Pathways Camp, held from 13–18 January at the National Performance Centre in Albert Park, Melbourne, brought together some of the nation’s best judo athletes for an intensive week of training and development.

Western Australia proudly contributed nine athletes to the camp, showcasing their dedication and talent on the national stage. Participants were put through their paces with physically, mentally, and technically challenging sessions led by Australia’s national coaches.

WA Representatives

  1. Thalia Armstrong – Australian Institute of Judo (Cadet Development Squad)
  2. Timeo Tournier – UWA Judo Club (Junior Development Squad; Emerging Categorised Athlete)
  3. Vas Middleton – Perth Judo Club (Junior Development Squad)
  4. Saya Middleton – Perth Judo Club (Under 23 Development Squad; Emerging Categorised Athlete)
  5. Maelie Tournier – UWA Judo Club (Junior Development Squad)
  6. O’ren Kelly – UWA Judo Club (Junior Development Squad)
  7. Maria Swan – UWA Judo Club (Developing Categorised Athlete)
  8. Jordon Greenbank – UWA Judo Club (Under 23 Development Squad; Developing Categorised Athlete)
