Overview

The Green Shirt Referee Program is a practical pre-accreditation program aimed at developing and training beginner referees, of all ages, to ultimately attain their State C licence.

This program also aims to create and develop the supportive culture required to make refereeing a valued and attractive pathway to engagement and participation in judo in Western Australia.

How does the program work?

Green Shirt referees are permitted to referee at club-hosted competitions held in Western Australia under the supervision of accredited referees. Referees are provided a loan Green Shirt to wear throughout the duration of the event.

Participants are continually assessed by the Judo WA Referee Committee for advancement to their State C accreditation licence and graduation from the Green Shirt program.
